How this works

This site exists to put the public record in front of you, clearly and with its sources attached, next to the scripture voters commonly bring to each question. The conclusion is yours to draw.

Building a profile

  1. 01

    You name someone

A candidate on your ballot or someone already in office. We confirm who they are and which office is in view, because a mayor and a senator do not have the same powers.

  2. 02

    We gather the public record

Official records first — votes, filings, signed documents, published statements — then reporting from news outlets. Each item is stored with its date and a link.

  3. 03

We write it in plain language

Twelve questions, each with a short summary of what the record shows and an honest note about what it does not show. The scripture passages people bring to each question are listed alongside.

  4. 04

    Readers keep it honest

Anyone signed in can add a source, flag one that looks false or misleading, or say whether the profile helped. When enough readers flag a source it is set aside, and the profile can be rebuilt without it.

Lines we won't cross

  • We never call a person biblical or unbiblical.
  • We never tell you how to vote and never rank candidates against each other.
  • We do not guess at anyone's motives or private faith.
  • Where the record is silent, we say it is unknown rather than calling it neutral.
  • Profiles are drafted from public sources and are not editorially verified. Read the sources.

Sharing and privacy

A profile you build is private until you choose otherwise. You can keep it to yourself, share it by link only, or list it publicly so other voters can read it, add sources, and vote on whether it helped. You can change your mind at any time.
